@halflifeproductionz Some would argue the twist ending was predictable (also, that it had been done before in other stories). I think it also suffered from bad advertising. Personally I had the impression there would be more monsters, so I was very disappointed that it was more about the relationship between the two characters... and the reveal involving said monsters left me a little burned.

figured out that they were not actual monsters and figured what the movie was about halfway through! but seriously there are actually people in real life who live like this cut of from the rest of us-The Real World..now thats wired/scary..

Alfred Hitchcock was also known for scaring his audience without showing the violence and in most cases any blood.
