@ActiveStorage No worries. I didn't mind your question, I understand that maybe you thought that I didn't realize this video was about gesture drawing. I didnt mind the missunderstanding and just to clarify, in one of my replies yesterday I used some harsh words but that response was meant for bradleycontois . I appreciate your civility. Peace

@as04qg sorry, i sounded a bit rude there. peace

@bradleycontois Actually I'm pretty sure that you are being an ignorant monkey. I know that the creator of this video is demonstrating gesture drawing and I meant no disrespect to him. In fact koodos to him. I am simply stating my belief that in order to get good at drawing, one should spend time learning a bit about the human form and anatomy. Again, only my opinion and I have the right to voice it. So, if you want to act like an ignorant jackass go ahead. Ill just ignore you as of now.

@ActiveStorage Yes Active Storage. I am famillliar with it. It was taught during my first year figure drawing course. I am simply stating my belief that even though many people find gesture drawing helpful, it is not like a magic pill in the sense that in order to get good at drawing, one should spend time learning a bit about the human form and anatomy. Again its only my opinion, no disrespect was intended to the creator of video. In fact, I appreciate videos like this one.

Actually I've used this method for years, and its great for when you're out of ideas. Honestly I learned it while I experimented with hallucinates. This was something I couldn't avoid doing, and later deconstructed how I was able to achieve the pieces I did. This a very natural way to draw in my opinion.

omg lol pure haters commenting.......anyways this is not used 2 get a final masterpiece guys...its how i draw myself as well.....its just a method and prefrence to get info down on the paper and can be quite effective depending on how and why you use it....and no this is not just for comic books and manga lmao...it is essentially a gesture drawing
