Could you have imagined if we walked the whole way?

And yeah, Saruman would still have needed to be dealt with, but I suspect that would have been a LOT easier with Sauron out of the way. Saruman was really just a trumped up henchman. The Balrog wouldn't have been a problem because the Fellowship never woulda gone into Moria and woken it UP - that thing was just pissed its sleep was disturbed! ;) And the Nazgul are bound to Sauron in such a way that when he dies, they die. They are not capable of outliving him. Hoyvin Glavin!

I mean think about it; even for those who've only seen the movies, when is the first time the dragons appear? Not until Frodo and Sam have hooked up with Gollum and are practically outside the black gate. The dragons don't participate in the battle of Helm's Deep - they don't show up for a battle until the battle of Gondor at almost the end of the trilogy. That's because it takes the Nazgul that long to get home and jump onto those things! Now I'm off to play this vid again & enjoy the humor!

Then there's the thing with the Nazgul- those who've read the books know that when the Nazgul were swept away by the river, their horses were killed & they had to make their own way back to Mordor before they could saddle up those badass dragons. They were hoofing it to Mordor themselves at the same time the Fellowship were. They beat them but not by all that much. So actually, had the plan from this video been put into action, no there wouldn't have been any dragon-riding Nazgul to stop them ;)

Hey, I have a master's degree, so the IQ is there. I'm a HUGE Tolkien fan who's read the series 4 times and absolutely loves the movies. And I still think this is funny, funny shite! =D By the way - no, the eagles cannot be commanded by anyone, but they do generally assist Gandalf when he requests it, as one of them saved him from Isengard - because they respect him. If he'd asked this of them, who knows... they just might have done it ;)

@CrowndKingx I completely agree. This video has no logic.

Isengard and the evil people would still be alive same with the balrog and nazguls.
